How to use the current records portal

1. Select the year you want under Available Archives.
2. Locate an entry titled Mayor and Council or Mayor and Council Work Session.
3. Choose the available Agenda, Agenda Packet, Minutes or media link.

Older meeting records

Saddle River has used more than one meeting-management system. Records from February 22, 2022 forward are in the current portal under Meeting records and video above. The two routes below preserve access to the systems used before that date.

Minutes and records

Under N.J.S.A. 10:4-14, the Borough keeps reasonably comprehensible minutes showing the time and place of the meeting, members present, subjects considered, actions taken and each member’s vote. Minutes are made promptly available to the public to the extent release is consistent with the lawful confidentiality provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act.

Saddle River Code § 45-6(B) also directs the Municipal Clerk to attend Council meetings and keep a record of the proceedings at regular and special meetings. Review Chapter 45 in eCode.
